The Sigma BF is not trying to be the best camera for everyone. It is attempting to become an especially desirable camera for certain photographers. Those who want a universal machine will quite rightly criticise its omissions. Those who appreciate distinctive objects, deliberate simplicity and the physical pleasure of making photographs may, by contrast, be willing to forgive it a great deal.
